    Milkshake IPA

Really keen to try making a "milkshake" IPA beer for the challenge and the curiousity of it! From what I understand it needs oats for haze, lactose for extra sweetness and vanilla pods for that ice cream flavour! As well as fruit etc! Has anyone made anything similar at all? Are there any good...

    Glycol chiller - maxi chiller

Thanks for the advice! I've been keeping an eye out for a cheap one of these for a while but as you say people keep asking silly money for a second hand one! Also I'm unfortunately based up in the north of Scotland which makes collecting a little tricky in most instances without crazy round trips!

    Berlinner Weisse - 5 ways

It was an optional step really, a few websites/ authors recommend dropping the ph to 4.5 directly after the first boil to decrease the risk of other bugs growing by creating an unfavourable environment for them to grow. Particularly since you don't have any of the protective oils from hops in...

    Berlinner Weisse - 5 ways

Hi Guys I haven't brewed for a wee while due to a new addition to the family but finally got an opportunity to get the mash tun out this week. After much research I decided to do a Berlinner weisse. There seems to be a million different ways to brew one and various techniques on souring. I...

    U Fleku

How is yours turning out? Just tasted mine before I bottle it and it seems to be bang on! Can't wait for it to carbonate and be drunk! So damn happy!! :thumb:

    U Fleku

Think it was caramunich, Munich, Pilsner and Carafa 3. The mad fermentation oat recipe substituted the Munich for the floor malted bohemian dark! I'm sure it will taste ace regardless!
