    Ed Sheeran

Well, I love Ed Sheeran's music usually, but I've never turned off the Glastonbury Headline Act before. One guy with a small guitar and recorded backing music didn't work at all for me as a finale.

    DIYDog 2017

    AB InBev getting into Homebrew

Just been surprised to see a news article on our sister forum HomeBrewTalk that AB InBev have acquired homebrew supplier Northern Brewer in the States. That's an odd one although I was almost as surprised to see that Northern Brewer have a revenue over $50,000,000.

    Auto Syphon woes

I initially thought my Auto Syphon was a nifty bit of kit for starting off the syphon flow. However, recently I had thought it was getting a little temperamental and Friday night when I did a double bottling session, my main 2 brews for the summer, was a complete disaster. The Syphon kept...

    Maris Otter and Munich combo

Looking for assistance with an experimental recipe. I've got 1.3kg Maris Otter left that I want to use up. So I'm thinking of adding a 1kg bag of Munich malt, chucking in a bit of Crystal malt and/or Carapils and doing a 10 to 12 litre brew. As far as I can tell this will give me a sort of...

    Youngs AAA won't stop fermenting

I've been fermenting my Youngs American Amber Ale kit for 5 weeks now and it still doesn't seem to have quite finished fermenting. I've followed the instructions to the letter. The recommended fermentation temperature is 20 - 24C so I've kept it at 22C throughout in a water bath with an...

    Hi from Northampton

Returning to Homebrewing after an absence of 25 years or so. Brewed kits back then, but lost interest after trying a Rotokeg for storage and losing 2 complete batches (maybe leaky seal or not sanitised well enough) and gave up, deciding it was cheaper to buy the stuff. Anyway, while perusing...
