    Munich/Vienna base malt

So, how much did you use? I'm curious because I've got loads of Vienna too! Was the finished brew 'dry' enough? 🤔

How many litres of home brew have you made 2021.

Only 23 litres so far. But in my defence I've brewed 46 litres of wine for the boss. Only got one small brew fridge, so I can only do one brew at a time.....Might be time to invest in a second one...

    Rauchbier idea

I'm drinking a rauchbier at the moment. I used Weyerman smoked too. I only used about 10% smoked grain and it's enough for me. From memory, it was 500g in a 5kg grain bill. Next time I'm going to wind back on the smoked. Maybe 5% to see the difference.

    What did you brew today?

I brewed a Theakstons Old Peculiar clone today from Graham Wheeler's book. Unfortunately, l didn't have the exact hops so substituted the challengers for Phoenix (adjusted IBU's accordingly), and had to change the EKG's for green Fuggles straight from the bine... ...so l guess it's not really...

    What are you drinking tonight.

Tonight it's a bottle of this. Found it at the back of the beer bunker, from a kit I did 3 years ago. Think it might be better than it was 2 years ago. (Job to remember now)

    BrewDog recipes

That's the site I looked at. The Zeitgeist stood out for me as not too complicated and not stupidly hoppy. But I'd have to go with non-organic grains

    BrewDog recipes

I was looking at the BrewDog recipes earlier. I'm not a great BD fan - I find them too hoppy for my taste - but, I quite liked the look of their Zeitgeist brew. Anyone tried making it? Or any BrewDog recipes?
  19. marlon

    Show us your beer.

Oktoberfest brewed from a Brewolution A/G kit - (the 'Fall of the Wall' one). Bit cloudy, but tastes like it should Cheers :beer1:
