    BrewDog recipes

I was looking at the BrewDog recipes earlier. I'm not a great BD fan - I find them too hoppy for my taste - but, I quite liked the look of their Zeitgeist brew. Anyone tried making it? Or any BrewDog recipes?

Ripped the lid off my latest brew and found this! Thing is, the beer tastes excellent, so I kegged it. Is it going to stay tasting excellent or should I give away as christmas presents to people I don't like..? :nah:

    Muntons Santas Winter Warmer Review

Brewed this one a couple of weeks ago - a kit I was given last christmas. Time to rack into a clean FV and taste test. Little bit winter spicy, but nothing outstanding. So decided to spice it up a bit. Added: 1/2 tub mixed spice, 1/2 tub each of chopped candied peel - orange, lemon, lime. 3...

Comma's in Hops - nothing to do with punctuation...!

Found some of these little monsters - Comma Butterfly caterpillars - on my Fuggle this morning. They love munching on hops apparently, so if you're trying to grow your own, check behind the leaves.

Brewolution AG Fuller's Famous ESB clone

My first AG brew and I've started drinking it. AG is definitely a step up in overall quality. I'm a great fan of Woody's Wherry, but this is a whole new experience. I feel better now, having invested in AG gear, I know now the expence was worth it. :thumb:

    Freezer (upright) free - Canterbury

I've got an upright freezer going begging. It's about 15 years old but working perfectly. Mrs. M's fed up with the plasticy drawers inside being broken, so she's ordered a new one. Free to anyone who's willing to collect from near Canterbury.

    Rumble in the calais jungle...

Just got back from a bottle run to Calais. Bit of a problem driving back to the ferry port, frustrated migrants - en masse - decided to cut through the security fence in several places and sling rocks at the police and their vehicles and anyone else nearby. That caused us to stop in the traffic...

Anyone out there got a Brewster? If so, how are you getting on with it? I'll be making a choice in the autumn - Brewster or Grainfather... seen loads of reviews on the G/F but bugger all on Brewster, except on lovebrewing.com and similar sites trying to flog 'em. (Maybe nobody's got one). Just...
