    If it helps, I started off with a Cosori, worked very well but difficult to clean and fell apart after a couple of months. Now have a Gourmia purchased from Costco which is the best kitchen appliance I have ever owned, hardly use the main oven now.

    Apple Tree Canker?

    It looks like canker, I have a couple of trees that have had it for many years and as long as I keep pruning it out each March they seem to survive. I would remove that side branch with the open wound and use Medo or Arbrex to paint over, but I am no expert. Good luck.
