Can I use a fridge in my garden shed?

I was under the impression a shed would count as outdoors because of the temperature variation. It's good to know that others have made it work OK though. Bit of bubble wrap insulation for my shed by the looks of it then. Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk

Can I use a fridge in my garden shed?

Hi all. I wanted to see if the above was possible since doing some reading suggests that fridges don't like outdoor setups unless you stump for one that is specifically built for outdoor use (and therefore costs a lot more). I was wondering about other people's experiences of running a fridge...

Private Landlords - Riches to Riches?

Yer, I get that. But ultimately what does that get you. Maybe bit more money than investing in something else maybe not. Interest rates are mega low so I get that savings account aren't worth anything. I do wonder what would have happened had people only really been able to afford one house...

Private Landlords - Riches to Riches?

To make money on then. Why not just save the money rather than buying another house. Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk

Private Landlords - Riches to Riches?

Just out of interest. Why doesn't everyone only have one house. Why do people need more than one house? Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk

    Bottle conditioning temps

Cheers for the advice. I've tried one now. Tastes good I think but no head. Put 49g dextrose into 7L of beer. Maybe just need another week at a higher temp Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk

    Bottle conditioning temps

Hi I've looked around and read up in this but I still wanted to check my thoughts with you all. I've got my AG bottled and it's been bottled for two weeks at around 20 C. Now normally I'd then move the bottles on to our pantry floor as it's stone and probably drops then a few degrees...

    Percentage flaked rice

Hey @MickDundee, how did you decide to use 1 percent of acid malt? I was going to use it as well to keep the pH correct but don't know how to figure out how much acid malt to add Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk (Edited your post so Mick will get a notification so he'll see this - MyQul)

    Percentage flaked rice

Hi I'm putting together a pseudo lager recipe using 4kg of pilsner malt. In with that I intend on using 1kg of flaked rice. Is this too much? What percentage of the grain bill should be used for flaked rice? O the reason it's a pseudo lager is that I'm going to use mangrove jacks california...

Any advice on my blonde ale recipe would be welcome

Thanks Cheshire. Will definitely with the Munich. I'm was worried it may be too hoppy for a classic blonde ale but then dry hopping won't increase the IBU? Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk

    No Rinse Sanitiser

Hum. There's a similar product on love to brew website. Sodium percarbonate. Again states the same that it cleans and sanitises with no need to rinse the product as it breaks down Into oxygen and water. Thing is I use oxiclean to clean but still rinse down and the use starsan. OK will need to...

    No Rinse Sanitiser

Agree with notlaw, I thought oxiclean needs to be rinsed and the sanitisation is then done with something else (I use star San). Sent from my HTC Desire 510 using Tapatalk
