The last one and it's a gusher!!

Well, after starting brewing last Christmas and going from kits to all grain. Last night opened my last bottle of apa bottled late last year, it went everywhere. I've probably bottled around 300+ beers and ciders and this is the first one to do that. The empty bottle went straight in the bin.

    Well chuffed

Managed to get hold of two single and one triple angram pumps. Paid £100 for the lot. The triple is missing drip trays and holder. But still think it's a bargain. Fairly clean and do pump. Also got a John Smiths old type illuminated pump thrown in. Just need to build the brew shed/ bar...

    White labs

Got a white labs Wlp300 that I will hopefully be using tomorrow on a wiessbier. What's the general thought and what do you do for pitching with white labs? It's been in the fridge, have read that some allow it to raise in temp before pitching. But others use it straight out of the fridge.

Got one of the peco kits off Hbc with wort chiller etc last week. Before I do a brew I'm looking at fitting a diy hop filter, the kind made from a tap connector flexible hose. Im just wondering as a few have commented on the poor flow of the tap supplied if anyone has fitted a ball valve...

Hello all, started brewing at Christmas. Been doing kits and fairly impressed. But have been considering starting a few smaller ag recipes. I've managed to get a 12.5 litre pan so I think as far as I know will be OK to do 2 gallon batches. One thing I wonder, does anyone have a recipe for...
