Yeah I've tried it, common in a few restaurants in city center, they seem to sell it insted of plain Fosters. Also had a cider with rum in it, and another with whiskey. Both were very nice.

Generally I want to see 2 fingers worth of "head" on a pint, less and it starts to look flat but also tend to count the bubbles in the beer as the head in my locals.

I think it's standard now, if there's events they have to raise security. With the risk of attack it's best to try and be safe than sorry.

YES! Although check the % before you do. Tiny Rebel had a launch event in one of my fave bars in Wales last year and being friends with the staff they suggested we try it, we enjoyed the free sample so had a pint, loved it got up to get the next round to find legs wobbly...it was a 10% beer...

You could check Wilkos, checked the other night and saw there's one in Newark. Can order online to deliver to store for free if they don't stock it as well I think.
