Bitter aftertaste - Razorback IPA kit

I've since been brewing AG for over a year and my own hoppy IPA with orange peel has none of these issues.

    Lime zest

I've grated the skins off of 6 limes and chucked them in at the 15 mins before. End result? Bit of lime zestiness in the finished beer.

    What are cask ales?

There are a few Craft Beer co. pubs in London and the beer there is generally pretty outstanding. The one I usually frequent gets through its beer pretty quickly. Most beers are gone and replaced with something else within a few days, often less. They often have kegs piled up round the side of...

    Recommended bottled water

As long as it tastes good, who really cares?

    Recommended bottled water

Drat! Morrisons quote their mineral levels per 100ml so the actual ppm numbers are 10 times higher.

    Recommended bottled water

Amazing! Morrison's water used to be called Pennine Vale and that was hard water from Shepley spring. I thought they'd simply changed the branding on the bottle but it must be different water entirely. I'll definitely check that out.

    Recommended bottled water

Thank you so much for posting that. It looks to be pretty much the same as the Asda Value water.

Also, I love that you memorised that information.

    Recommended bottled water

NI would be a bit far for me to travel to pick up water but I'll have a look at an actual bottle next time I'm near my local one and see what the score is, cheers.

    Recommended bottled water

I can't find any up-to-date info on their water. Do you know what it's like? I found some info suggesting it was chase spring water, the same as ASDA's value water but that was a few years old.

    Recommended bottled water

I know you're a bit of a water guru on here Steve but are you sure that's correct? It's listed as having 280mg/L of bicarbonate. Morrison's water comes from the same company and I remember that as being hard water too. 8L for a quid though, so decent value.

New diesel and petrol vehicles to be banned from 2040 in UK

Each car could simply have it's own built in nuclear reactor to supply the power to the batteries.

    what next!!

This really isn't a new thing. I've even been in bars abroad where they were selling these for consumption on site.

    Recommended bottled water

Up until recently I was using Asda Eden falls (soft) water as a basis for my pale beers but now they've switched over to another source with quite high carbonate levels. I've tried Tesco Ashbeck which is similar to Eden Falls but it's a bit more expensive and a lot less convenient for me to...

    what next!!

The bulbs look the same but they contain nitrous oxide for whipping cream.

Hi, I'm new here and would like to introduce my beer pouring channel

Perhaps consider using an external monitor/TV to help you judge the framing while pouring. You could do some practice runs with bottles of cheap lager just to get your eye in. If you drink the lager before attempting the money shot, this may help with the nerves.

Even YouTube still calls them videos. What idiots!

    what have you got

I have one of these. Makes no difference to my brewing other than maybe a little bit easier to clean. I intend to buy more.

    1/2 Inch Hose To Pump

Looks good. There's nothing wrong with going out of a female hozelock into a male. My CF chiller is set up this way and works great.

    Juice in the brew

Not used grapefruit juice but I have used other juices. I normally swazz up some fruit in the blender (previously frozen and then defrosted) and pasteurise it. I'll add it after the main fermentation is complete, usually at the same time as a dry hop. Many types of fruits will add a noticeable...
