After roughly a week the bottles haven't exploded yet - so that's a good sign! But it turned out rather nice, nice and bubbly with a small head on top. Head retention isn't great, lasting in the region of 30 seconds before disappearing. Next time I may try with a tad more sugar!

I'd second most of the answers here Leave it long enough and it will clear itself up nicley! Even a day or so in the fridge will do wonders. The only time I'd say use additives is if your looking to brew quickly to stock up your supply.

I wouldn't worry too much. Just brewed myself a Cooper's Real Ale, it fermented completely in just over 2 days due to the heat. Tried a bottle and it's lovely! No off flavours or anything like that.
