    Coopers Lager Bundle Kit

Much appreciated Saisonator. I will have a look through your threads to get some pointers ! Thanks for the advice.

    Coopers Lager Bundle Kit

So - 2 weeks fermenting, 2 weeks carbing, + 2 extra days clearing. All of the bottles are now remarkably clear. Looks great - darker than normal, great fizz, nice mouth feel and very clear (no crashing done). Taste is a bit brackish and somewhat bitter but no real bad tones to it - just not...

    Red wine kit quality

I have completely given up on wine kits - even the Kenridge Showcase New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc 16 Litre Wine Kit was a terrible disappointment and I have loads of it sitting in the shed untouched. If I had to produce wine I would do a WoW Rose - IMO much more drinkable and closer to wine...

    Coopers Lager Bundle Kit

So having had a bit of a sabbatical I have returned to brewing - having decided to focus just on beer. This is only my second beer - the first was the Youngs IPA http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=68075 I decided to make no changes whatsoever to the recipe. The...

    Ford focus vs Citroen Picasso

I have owned some fords (Mondeo, Focus x 2) and I would not buy one again. They just fall apart and pumps etc break. The rep french cars have makes me avoid. I just buy Toyota at moment but have my eyes on a Fabia.

First Beer - Youngs American IPA Kit

I am trying to cut down but I guess just for research purposes I could try 1 a night and record whether it is improving or not !

First Beer - Youngs American IPA Kit

OK Kids - we are about 1 month in and I grabbed a bottle from the warm fermfridge - chilled it for a few hours and poured it: https://vimeo.com/204042132 Tastes nice, actual beer not homebrew cloney stuff. The head has remained on it the whole way down. Plenty of Fizz despite the 1 week to...

    Bri's fermentation thingy WIP

Get a 12v 2 cable phone charger and connect to the wires on the pc fans. You don't really need a fan that much tbh.

Beaverdale 30 bottle Pinot - boost

Looks good! PET 5g are brilliant btw. I have to say I now regret adding extra sugar to my 11% Kenridge. It is now slightly too strong at 13.5%. Next time I would just follow the instructions to the letter. http://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=634632&postcount=11

First Beer - Youngs American IPA Kit

Yes - came to same conclusion as my Grolsch bottles were fine. All my brewing stuff now is plastic - lighter to carry around ! Its 0c today - ferm fridge only reaching 19.7c so far but the bottles are firming up already.

What do you do for a living.

Computer Networks - amongst others I work with guys who do same stuff as GDog

    The Redbush experiment

So don't use tea and instead add redbush at end of the fermentation in place of stabiliser?
