Plate heat exchangers and cold break in the FV?

I'm rebuilding my kettle at the moment, I'm using a full coil of 1/2 copper (25M) but split to a double coil, then welding in another two 3/4 nipples, one at an angle for the discharge, if I just use pellet hops it should work. The wort is cooled by whirlpooling with the immersion cooler in...

    Phosphoric Acid and Alkalinity

In the calculator for water treatment, what is the relationship between 85% phosphoric and CRS. I suppose what I am asking is what strength CRS is, I have some food grade stuff in 5ltr, as 250ml of CRS does not last too many 120ltr treatments with my HCO3 up at 146, and I mostly do pale ales...

    big end bearing question,

When you strip it, rod out and then blow out all the oilways, it really sounds like oil starvation, you can get small rods and brushes for this. One of my subscriptions on utube is this a bit geekish but for an engineer and machinist, pure porn

    Any bikers among us?

A big trail type yoke, something like the africa twin, comfy for your frame, upright and will eat up miles without loosing the run of yourself. I got a Moto Morini 350 Kanguro and use it as my everyday runaround, a XBR500 and a VTR1000 SP1, I love big singles and twins.

    leaking cornie question

Once you seal it as 25psi does it loose the seal when you drop the pressure, if so I'd say it's fecked, if not, you have a method of sealing. A last ditch effort may be to bring it up close to the relief valve pressure, IMPORTANT - FILL IT TO THE BRIM BEFORE GOING TO HIGH PRESSURE. water can't...
