What have you been cooking in your air fryer?

I tried the Harry Ramsdens battered jumbo sausages I got from Iceland in mine last night and they were lovely and crispy when they were done, only took 15 minutes too. It used a lot less electricity than if I'd put the oven on as well

    Belt in Oil

I've had a few Peugeot's come in to the workshop over the past few months with low oil pressure warnings flagging up on the dashboard and every one of them has been a belt in oil engine. The problem on all of them was caused by the belt breaking up and the pieces of it blocking the oil pick up...

    Do you remember.

We had a box on the back of the telly that took 10p coins (and two bob bits) then a bloke came every month to empty it. It always seemed to run out half way through star trek or planet of the apes

    Lost my Marbles

We called them Ollie's too in Liverpool as well. We called ball bearings Steelies and they were the most valuable then there were large green glass ones we called cats eyes. Bolllies were twice the size of Ollie's and were worth two of them. My dad did some work for Pilkingtons in St Helens and...

    Identifying a peice of equipment

Have you thought about using a folding engine crane? It will lift a fair old weight and then you fold it up and put it in the corner until you need it again. You can get them from Machine Mart

What are you listening to tonight.

It's going to be Paradise by KMFDM first tonight then I'll probably but the Industrial Metal spotify playlist on I share with my daughter when the IPA has started to work its magic and treat the neighbours to it whether they want it or not

How long have you been brewing for?

40 years on and off for me. Started with kits then moved to AG until the now ex wife decided she wanted to extend one of the bedrooms into my brew room and put all my gear in the shed. Came back to it again about 12 years ago with a couple of two can kits and rediscovered how much I'd missed brewing

What kit beer are you drinking tonight?

Finishing off the Woodfordes Admiral's Reserve that's in the corny keg tonight. Was very impressed with this one and would definitely recommend it.

    what suppliers do we use

My brother and me go to The Wine Loft in St Helens. The ladies there are really friendly and what they don't know about brewing you can write on the back of a stamp. They'll even weigh out your grain bill and hops if you call ahead with your recipe

    Muntons Gold IPA

Just bought one of these from the LHBS and saw it can be made up with a couple of different strengths. Just wondering if anyone has tried it in either of it's forms and if it would benefit from a bit of pimping. Thanks

The scariest thing I remember on Dr Who when I was a nipper was the giant maggots and flies. Still get the heebeegeebees now when I think about them
