It can definitely get expensive! Started off with "two can" kits - moved to all grain with an all in one and couple of fermzillas - then moved to a 400litre kit with 3 FVs and CTs - now contract/cuckooing 1700 litre brews!!! My hobby got a little bit out of hand 🤣

I've never used Kveik yeast but from a commercial point of view I would never harvest yeast from a 10% beer, anything over 1.040 and the view is that our house yeast will have been overworked and stressed (again i don't have any experience of kveik so just an FYI on that part). May be worth...

Any one able to provide a good guide on how to cask condition beer. My thoughts are its similar to bottle conditioning. Beer into cask before final gravity is reached, finings in, seal cask, wait a couple of weeks (?)...how far off am I?

Do you find it pretty accurate and easy to take your readings from? Also do you need to do any conversions with the readings? I feel like inread something before that it wasn't as straight forward as using a hydrometer

I've just smashed my hydrometer (again 🙈) so needing to pick up another. Can you buy digital hydrometer that doesn't sit in the fermenter. I like the idea of the Tilt but I have 3 or 4 fermenters on at one time so don't like the idea of having 3 or 4 Tilts! Any suggestions?
