    Muntons vs Coopers

I have followed some of the recipes on the Coopers site and found them really good. Im only beginning to expand my brewing using some added grains and such. From what I have read...I will stick with the Coopers.

    Muntons vs Coopers

So I picked up a case of Coopers cans today, and the owner of the HBS I shop at asked me if I had tried Muntons. No...the other brew store also doesnt carry it so I have no experience with it. Any of the kit brewers here have any thoughts on the two products? Thanks for any insight. Dave

    Bottle conditioning temperature

I would think you would want a temp in the range 0f 18 - 20 C. If its too cool (say lagering temp), I would think it would take forever to carbonate.....too warm, and I hear bad tastes can creep in. I condition in the same room I brew in...

What temperature do you serve your beer at?

I for one serve many of my beers at garage temperature. I was told years ago that if you want to find out if the beer is good, serve it at room temp in the summer. If it doesnt taste good at that temp....it was chilled to hide the crappy taste. I now enjoy what others term "warm" beer. I have a...

    Why Do We Do It??

Im a kit brewer ( just starting to play with hops/partial mashes/cold steeping etc) and I will admit, my primary reason was money. Where I live (Canada) I think the majority of the cost of booze is taxes. But......I am finding that aside from the obvious savings, Im really enjoying the flavours...

    The death penalty.

If this person took other peoples lives because he felt it was a justified act and we feel it is/was wrong, how then can one justify taking another life just because we feel it would be a justified act? Does one act somehow find a higher ground than the other equally despicable act? There always...
