When I made my Mocha Porter, I added 500g of cocao powder at the end of the boil. This worked fine, but I did get some cocao fat residue in the neck of the bottles. Next brew I am going to boil cocao in pan, leave to cool, skim fat and then add at end of boil. It really didn't spoil the beer...

Last year the weather was fantastic, we sat outside all day enjoying the sun. The best spot was next to the railway line, on which they had a steam engine running. It was throw out a fair amount of hot embers, add a low cut dress to the equation....

Used a box of cocao powder in the Mocha Porter. In the bottle you can see a small "fatty" ring round the neck, floating on the beer. It disappears once poured, the head doesn't last long, at the moment, but it's still very young (about 2 weeks) so that may improve. There's lots of chocolate...

I have no problems with my youngs twin handle capper and koppaberg bottles.
