    Will give it a sample when fermented and then may sweeten with Candarel or similar. Trial jar was super sweet (and lovely) so hop it may hold on to a bit of sweetness.

    I've done 2 demijohns today to the following recipe: 20 lemons 50g Fresh ginger 1500g Sugar Zested 10 of the lemons and added zest to a pot with the juice of the 20 lemons, about 1l of water and 50g of finely grated ginger. Warmed it up a bit and added sugar to make a syrup. Meanwhile...

    Have been recommended the sv before with being only 5' 9" and I do like the look of them but also have a workmate who has an Er6 f and can't fault it. I quite like the look of the KTM 390 too but not sure how a single cylinder bike would hold up as a commuter?

    Let us know how you get on. Just drinking first bottle, added 1 tbsp of sugar free Vimto to bottle to sweeten as was quite dry. Mrs had a shop bought Rose chilling so poured both at same time, blind taste test was a clear winner for the homebrew.....result. Cheers Chippy

    Done now and finings in, how long before trying? F.G was .990 on both and they smelt very alcoholic, does this mellow when clearing? Also read something about "back sweetening" if dry, how much sucralose sweetener would be an average to add and when? Ta

I have secondary's for racking, I have stabiliser, when should I do these? Is giving the demijohns a good shake after racking ok...
