12L keg and soda stream C02

I use this keg setup, but have a fermzilla allrounder to do most of the carbonation for me prior to transfer. Before I got the fermzilla I found force-carbing used up CO2 cylinders quickly, so you might want to consider using some priming sugar instead. In answer to your question though, you...

    New CML yeasts announced!

I wonder if Atlantic is similar to MJ36 from the description? Some great options for English Bitters / ESBs / pale ales in this range now.

    MJ Liberty Bell yeast

I've tried a number of yeasts and I still think that Liberty Bell is one of the best and great value. I do need to try CML's 'The Firm' (Windsor) though, I think it's a battle between the two for a dry English Bitter yeast.

Crossmyloof "Hell" Lager Yeast - opinions

That's funny, that would be one of the things I would try in future as well. I too had moved from dextrose to granulated and hadn't noticed any difference with ale yeasts. I saw someone mention elsewhere that table sugar has a different structure to corn sugar that needs some extra work by the...

Crossmyloof "Hell" Lager Yeast - opinions

Good results from my 3rd brew. After eliminating most of the variables I think the acetaldehyde came from priming with sugar in the bottle when that can't be temperature controlled. The acetaldehyde in a black lager I bottled is slowly diminishing but I'm not sure it will ever disappear...

Crossmyloof "Hell" Lager Yeast - opinions

Struggling to avoid acetaldehyde with this despite temperature control below 14C. I'm on my 3rd brew with it (2 packs in each) and won't be using the yeast again if this next brew comes out the same.

    Ace micro brewer

ACE are no longer trading. However you can buy the same equipment labelled as Hopcat, Beer Torrent, Angel Homebrew's Brew Devil and others. It's a good bit of kit and mash efficiency is relatively high (80+% easily). However there have been some reliability issues with components so I'd...

    GetErBrewed Question and Answer thread.

Your Nelson Sauvin t90 hop pellets don't seem to have a weight option as per the others do - is this intentional? If so, what weight is being sold?

    Fourpure Session IPA clone

I really like the Fourpure Session IPA but was puzzling over a possible recipe to clone it - it contains mosaic, simcoe, cascade and centennial hops. Do you think I could get away with adding 25% of each in equal quantities at the beginning, 50% halfway and 25% at the end of boil to get...
