    When to take a gravity reading

    Just finished my BIAB 1868 IPA, took a gravity reading before the boil and the OG was 1.070 intended was 1.069 so that seemed alright, after the boil the brew needed topping up to get to 23 liters so I topped up & took a gravity reading it was then 1.057 did I do anything wrong here?
