    Question regarding water types?

    Hi everyone, I've just signed up as I want to get back into the brewing process I really enjoy (as well as the product!). Our new house, when it's built, will have treated well-water as its supply: Alkalinity 112, Calcium 25 (it's very soft, hard to get the soap off in the shower sometimes)...

    I've been brewing for many years, but in a limited, naïve way. More recently I've started to learn things of a more technical nature, and I know now about hot break and cold break and such; but I'm not ready to get involved in jargon and more detailed stuff -- I want to keep things simple...
