Has anyone seen any good movies lately?

I saw Tyranasaur earlier this week, brilliant film Very gritty as you would expect from Paddy Considine, given his close work with Shane Meadows. Olivia Coleman is absolutely outstanding

    bangers

Drilling a tap hole in a Fermenting bin

afternoon all, I was hoping to drill a hole at the bottom of my FV and fit a tap from my pressure barrel, so as to make use of my 'little bottler'. Does anyone have any tips to follow or avoid? Main worry is that the seal wont be tight enough to keep all the brew in during fermentation. Also...

My beers range from around 3.8% for Wherry, 4.5% for Coopers Lager and 8% for ciders and Brewferm specials. I recently drank one 500ml bottle of my Brewferm Diablo after sunday lunch and it knocked me out

    St. Peters, India Pale Ale

I brewed this as one of my first kits last year and I have to agree with Big Jim in that you have to leave it for a good long time before it tastes decent. I think the last bottle I had was about 4 months old and only then was it getting spot on. Was lovely when it was matured but had a bit of a...

    woodfordes nog. is this normal??

yes mate you generally will get a bit of 'gunk' floating on the top, probably nothing to be worried about. Did you take an original reading with a Hydrometer when you kicked the brew off? This needs to stay the same for about 3 days before you bottle it hope that helps
