ok bought one of those heating elements for a mash tun off the web but what do you guys use for a ‘cover’ or protector for the electrical connection on the end of it ?

E mailed Tiny Rebel and fair play they e mailed back in a few hours. Basically they say they ain’t disclosing any recipes at all to anyone .....can’t say I blame them. They do say it’s a good seller though and they’re planning to have it available for a long time.

Anybody use those plastic freezable blocks intented for cool boxes? Seems to me they’d do the job well?

Sorry I meant that the keg itself has no pressure release valve, not the cap. The caps appear to be the same. Here’s a pic of the keg with the valve......the other keg doesn’t have this.

I have two of these .....one which appears to have a ‘overpressure valve’ and one that doesn’t. Am I safe to assume that the valveless on will be alright to whack my beer kit in the valveless one after the ferment and primed ?
