    I’m not sure where the 2013 came from, two were dated 2015, BBE 11/18, the other had no date on. I’ve opened the Saaz leaf to dry hop something and they smell pretty good to me ...time will tell.

    Evnin’ all, I’ve now got a heck load of hops (15kg) thanks to the Brewers Select hops sale, and I’m looking to re-bag them into 500g lots to go into the freezer ...so I now need a vacuum sealing machine. Can recommend a good one without breaking the bank???

    They arrived today, 5kg bails/bag (silver plastic) and each in the boxes from the original supplier/manufacturer ...cascade leaf from YCHHOPS, saaz leaf from Hopunion and Hallertau pellets from Hopsteiner. ...now where to store them...

    FWIW ...I had a free pint of it in one of their pubs, first I’ve ever had, and the aroma was like putting your nose in a bag of hops, rather bitter (obvs) but smoothly bitter, and all in all a very nice refreshing pint.

    I just knocked ‘em up in MS Word, printed ‘em out, bit of trimming, and stuck ‘em on with pritt-stick ;-) ...the only free label creation thingys I could find online wouldn’t let me add pics without paying, hence using MS Word...

    Insulating conservatory

    In case this helps, I’ve just converted my loft and the roof insulation to meet building regs is 50mm ventilated air gap (under whatever the finished roof is, so this is for a ‘cold roof’) 75mm kignspan or equiv., superquilt or equiv., 25mm air gap then finished ceiling.

    I think the builder uses the 500g and 1kg prices ...and rather upsettingly they just put their grain prices up by +20% :-(

    Worth a punt?

    Seller only has 23 feedback and nothing since the middle of least year, I wouldn’t hold you breath, but you never know, stranger things have happened ...I guess.
