    Cwtch by Tiny Rebel Brewery

I left mine in the FV for 2 weeks but I remember did slow down pretty quickly. Guess, if you want to dry hop late then day 9 would be a good shout! Enjoying this brew but I wish I had used bottled water over tap water. Tried an IPA that I brewed with bottled water and there was a noticeable...

Mangrove's jack grapefruit pink ipa limited edition

Bottled this two days ago. I used youngs beer finings and it was very clear. Tried a sample and was very impressed. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. ABV came out at 5.2% which I'm quite happy with!

I did mate yeah! Used the Mangrove Jack's Brew Enhancer. Had to pay £5 for it though :(

Mangrove's jack grapefruit pink ipa limited edition

Put this kit on 2 days ago and it is just getting going. Struggled getting it down to pitching temperature so it sat in my bathtub filled with cold water for about 4 hours :) Currently under the stairs with the Dyson fan blasting at it and keeping around 22 degrees. Really excited about this...

    Bottled Beer - Hokey Cokey

I've bottled my first brew (Cwtch) and it is currently in the garage fridge. I'm trying to get it to clear up a bit as it currently resembles pond water, but tastes great! Last night, I put my second kit on (Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA) and am looking to use the garage fridge to regulate...

    Cwtch by Tiny Rebel Brewery

So............ I bottled the Cwtch last night. Went into my LHBS to buy a secondary FV but they strongly advised me to get it bottled ASAP. Something about wanting some sediment in the bottles so it'll carb up :/ Looked cloudy but hoping it'll clear somewhat in the bottles. Had a little taste...

    Cwtch by Tiny Rebel Brewery

Thanks Jakeyboi I’m not sure cold crashing is an option. This is my first attempt at Home Brewing so no fridge that can fit my FV in. (Probably worth the investment though for regulating fermentation temperatures going forward)

    Cwtch by Tiny Rebel Brewery

Just after a bit of advise. My Cwtch has been in the FV for nearly 2 weeks now. I’m not sure whether I want to go straight to bottling or to put into a secondary fermenter to aid with clearing the brew. A few people have mentioned how cloudy it seems when bottling and if this would make a...

    Homebrew Virgin

I think I’ll order Graham Wheeler’s for when it’s time for going All Grain. To be honest, I think Preston is crying out for a tap room/bottle shop (would love to own one. Maybe one day eh) There’s a couple of half decent pubs around but Preston doesn’t seem to have the same drinking culture as...

Thanks for the advise. I think it’s quite transparent for them to disclose their “secrets”! I’ve done most of my reading online so far. Is there a good read I’m missing out on?

Good tip! Thinking maybe a milk stout for brew #2 and possibly playing around with a flavour

Thanks for the tip. I can imagine it being difficult to hold back the excitement with my first one but I’ll take your word for it! I saw that Brewdog have published their recipes! Something for the near future hopefully
