I am similar my beer has been great but I’ve tried about 5 wine and although drinkable not to the same taste as shop bought, maybe it’s just not possible with wine

They do all seem very weak tasting, have you tried making say 25 bottles instead of 30?

Ah so the taps are all similar but the float tube has a wider area where it connects to the back of the tap, is that correct? My tube doesn’t have the wider area on the end

I have a King Keg with the tap missing so no reference to buy a like for like one, it’s a top tap so I need one I can connect the float and tube to. I have spent a while on Amazon trying to find one but I’m just not sure which one I need. Can some kind soul point me in the right direction?

Lorrys are restricted to 62 either by a road speed restrictor or the fact that its recorded on a tacho so if you want to cruise which I do at times 62 means you wont be overtaking or overtaken by many lorrys

so you are fermenting in a bucket, does it have an airlock or do you just use the bucket and then bottle?

I have tried a wilko 6 bottle starter kit and it tasted great but demijohns take up lots of room and a 23 litre one seems hard to source on the used market so I was wondering can you ferment wine in a beer keg?
