Just to clarify I was following the recipe from G Wheelers book. The beer tastes really alcoholic and a bit heavy to drink. I think I extracted more sugar from my grain than I expected.
Hi as part of a full grain brew I added granulated sugar. Does using normal sugar have much effect on the resulting flavour?
My beer tasted a bit barley wine ish. Meant to be pedigree
Hi. It was commercial don't know the brewery and was called session ipa.
I was just wondering if there were any tips on getting that kind of summer flowery kind of flavour.
Sorry not very specific...
I've been drinking some session ipa which have a really nice flowery fruity kind of flavour. Just wondering how to achieve a flavour like this?
Thanks Tom
I never thought of That!
I've arranged to return it to Klarstein and they are replacing it. I hope...
I was pondering getting one of their boilers with no pump and just resorting to stirring the mash ever 15 minutes or so
As the title says the pump has stopped working during mashing. I'm only on my 6th brew.
I'm returning it to Klarstein. I'm not sure whether I should get a refund and go for a Klarstein without the pump or risk the new one?
