    Summertime Wherry

Thanks guys. Since I am brewing this for Mr DizzyDazz I'll let him decide whether fruiter is good or not. If not I might try a different yeast.

    Summertime Wherry

The brewing temperature for Woodfordes Wherry is given at 18-20C so I was just wondering will I be able to brew this when the temperatures start to rise?

    Recommendation SE England.

If your travelling to Dover by car to catch your boat keep a close eye on the road/motorway traffic situation in Kent post-Brexit. http://www.trafficengland.com/ . Google Operation Brock .....

    Liquid Malt Extracts

What's the difference between LMEs such as Beerworks Liquid Malt Enhancer/Mangrove Jacks Pure Liquid Malt Extract 1.2kg which are both under a fiver and the more expensive LMEs such as Coopers/Muntons?

    Low IBU Kits

Mr DizzyDazz was rather taken with a pint of Maltsmiths IPA while on his hols and according to Maltsmiths blurb, they use Citra, Chinnock, Columbus, Centennial hops so maybe the American hops are the way to go...

    Low IBU Kits

What hops would you use to add flavour rather than bitterness?

    Low IBU Kits

    Good idea. LOL.

    Low IBU Kits

Can anyone recommend low IBU beer kits? Mr DizzyDazz has just informed me he doesn't like bitter beer, the problem is not many kits give you the bitterness units.

Punch 4 day Chateau Rouge Style 30 Bottle Wine Kit Review

Opened a bottle a few days ago, and it appears to have thrown a sediment, which has well an truly stuck to the bottom of the bottle.

    Wilko Cherry wine kit problem?

Something a bit weird here, if you tested your hydrometer in water it should read about 1000. Now if you mixed the correct amount of water and sugar with your Wilko kit and got a reading of 1075 then the potential alcohol would be about 10%. Are you reading your hydrometer correctly?

Punch 4 day Chateau Rouge Style 30 Bottle Wine Kit Review

It's only been bottled a couple of days and no sediment as yet.

Punch 4 day Chateau Rouge Style 30 Bottle Wine Kit Review

I agree Beaverdale and CC are better kits but they are about 30% more expensive and I'm on a bit of an economy drive at the mo.

Punch 4 day Chateau Rouge Style 30 Bottle Wine Kit Review

Difficult to say as I have mainly stuck to the Beaverdale kits in the past. Generally, I say you get what you pay for with wine kits, however, for the price of a £1 a bottle the Punch kit makes an acceptable red with a quick turnaround. Think I might try a white in their range next time.

    Google 20 years old.

I have a vague recollection of using Compuserve in 1992 for email and BBS sites and I'm still in contact with a lady living in Australia from over 20 years ago when we were researching on a Genealogy BBS. The internet was a very male environment...
