Does anyone use Grainfather Sparge Water Heater as an electric mash kettle for BIAB/Partial Mash brewing? Any down sides to this? I know it only holds 18L which is a bit of a downer but has anyone else used one like this?

I've just cracked my fermenter open on day 5 of Fermentation of a double yeast pitched DIPA. I was clean in the brew as far as I could tell. Does this photo look normal? Bubbling has slowed down a little bit but it's still bubbling from time to time. Are these just yeast rafts or an infection?

Has anyone got one of these? I've seen sometimes theres issues with trub/yeast not actually making its way into the catch bottle. What do you think of it?

Ive run a Northern Brewer Pliny clone recipe through Brewers Friend to adjust the batch size because I've only got a 5 gallon fermenter for a 6 gallon recipe. Its come out at around 200 IBU?! Whats up with that? Have I made some rookie error here...
