Depends what drink it is really. The only drink I care about the head on is Guinness. The head on that has to be around 1 inch. Yum. :cheers:

Wouldn't the extra sugar just add to the sweetness, or alcohol level?

Hi guys, I was in my local brew shop the other day and seen they have chocolate malt. I would like to make a 'chocolate' tasting beer. Any recipes out there that are good, quick and easy to make? Thanks.

They sell this stuff in ASDA, I found it by the bit with all the party cups/plates/napkins along with various other flavors.

Coffee Wine is now fermenting well, I think it was a little too cold, heat mat proved to work fine. :cheers:

Nope, but I have moved it onto my heat mat, and it seems to be getting some life into it now. All the yeast is at the bottom of my DJ in a pile.

I made a coffee wine last night and it does not seem to even be close to starting to ferment. I followed the recipe out of a book, and the instructions, but still no activity. Do I give it another day or is there something I can do to 'help' it?

I think if the ending result tastes any good then personally I wouldn't be too bothered about the loss, i'd rather have 1 bottle of really good tasting wine, than 6 bottles of ****, although it could just turn out as 1 bottle of nasty. :grin: Lets hope it doesn't, I wish you a good wine :pray:

I was looking at Cranberry juice, but it was juice drink, not concentrate. :( I thought about pineapple, anyone made a pineapple TC? Where did you get pear juice from? Can't say i've seen it anywhere.

Whoops :whistle: LOL, I suppose I could always buy some more and add it at the end if it still doesn't taste too good. I'm on a journey to make a flavored Kilju that is cheap and easy to make, then I plan on making my mates get into brewing with it. :D
