    Foil on favourite corks?

Nothing wrong with just the corks but if you want them to be on display and look good, i'd say wrap them. Takes 30 seconds, if that. Get some labels on there too. Unless of course you don't plan on keeping them very long. :drink:

Pint head - What does this mean to you?

I enjoy the thick head, although 1/2" is good, any less and it's a no no. :drink:

Pint head - What does this mean to you?

Depends what drink it is really. The only drink I care about the head on is Guinness. The head on that has to be around 1 inch. Yum.

    Hi

I've been on the forum for a while but never actually said hi to anyone. Soo.... Hello. I've been brewing for over a year now. I don't know what got me thinking about brewing but I'm glad I did. At first the thoughts were just my own, then as I started questioning about homebrewing it turns...

    Demi-johns

I started making beer first, but then moved onto wine. I used a DJ for my first attempt and I also used a kit. It came out pretty good. Even if you don't use the DJ straight away, they're great for when you get a bit more adventurous with your...creations. I inherited 13 DJs from my uncle. It...

    Alco~Coke

Ahh, I see now. I didn't think about the flavor or the fizz if i'm honest. That does help me. Thanks.

Wouldn't the extra sugar just add to the sweetness, or alcohol level?

    Chocolate beer

Hi guys, I was in my local brew shop the other day and seen they have chocolate malt. I would like to make a 'chocolate' tasting beer. Any recipes out there that are good, quick and easy to make? Thanks.

    Alco~Coke

They sell this stuff in ASDA, I found it by the bit with all the party cups/plates/napkins along with various other flavors.

Coffee Wine is now fermenting well, I think it was a little too cold, heat mat proved to work fine.

Coffee Wine not fermenting, any help?

Nope, but I have moved it onto my heat mat, and it seems to be getting some life into it now. All the yeast is at the bottom of my DJ in a pile.

Coffee Wine not fermenting, any help?

I made a coffee wine last night and it does not seem to even be close to starting to ferment. I followed the recipe out of a book, and the instructions, but still no activity. Do I give it another day or is there something I can do to 'help' it?

What other juices are good to use for a TC?

I think if the ending result tastes any good then personally I wouldn't be too bothered about the loss, i'd rather have 1 bottle of really good tasting wine, than 6 bottles of ****, although it could just turn out as 1 bottle of nasty. Lets hope it doesn't, I wish you a good wine

What other juices are good to use for a TC?

I was looking at Cranberry juice, but it was juice drink, not concentrate. :( I thought about pineapple, anyone made a pineapple TC? Where did you get pear juice from? Can't say i've seen it anywhere.

What other juices are good to use for a TC?

I do believe the title speaks it all. But if anybody has some good/strange recipes it would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Vanilla and possibly Strawberry Wine

Whoops  LOL, I suppose I could always buy some more and add it at the end if it still doesn't taste too good. I'm on a journey to make a flavored Kilju that is cheap and easy to make, then I plan on making my mates get into brewing with it. :D
