    Using river water for brew?

Just an idea, i live in wales and we have lots of free flowing streams from the mountains near my house, the water is really good and ive drank it plenty of times out on walks. I was thinking i could use this water, filtered and boiled of course, in one of my brews. Would this work? Or is there...

Cold crashed mexican beer still cloudy, should i leave it for longer?

the fridge i have it in at the moment is like 2 degrees celcius so its about as cold as i can get it without worrying about it freezing up lol ill look into the gelatine, would you recommend i do that then? or should i just bottle it up?

Cold crashed mexican beer still cloudy, should i leave it for longer?

Hi, I'm brewing a coopers mexican cerveza (my first one), it has been fermenting for 2 weeks, & 2 day ago i began cold crashing it in the fridge. i was going to bottle tonight but the beer is still pretty cloudy/hazy, so unsure of whether to continue with bottling, or leave it in the fridge...

Brew enhancer 1 or 2 for Canadian blonde!

Which one would you reccomend and why? On the home brew shop it says that coopers recommend brew enhancer 2, which i believe is more suited for darker beers. i see other homebrewers using brew enhancer 1 for lighter/lager style beers, so unsure of which one to use?
