    Nicks90's Brewdays

Hi mate. Have you had any more of this yet to decide how you like it? I put the same kit on last night but have modified the sugars. It calls for 600g lme but this was out of stock so recieved spray malt instead. I recieved 3 1kg packs so didn't want to waste the stuff and used 800g in this...

    Bull Dog Kits

Good to know it came out drinkable though! It literally smells vile at the minute. Some shocking reviews online too, then some good too. If it still hums in a week I'm gonna throw a handful of coffee beans in for 24 hours before bottling

    Bull Dog Kits

Not much chance of it lasting 4 mo ths here, I get too impatient. A month in a bottle tops. 6% is cool, I was drinking this stuff last night, delightful if you haven't tried it

    Bull Dog Kits

I’ve got an Easter stout on the go too. 7 days in I’ve just checked the gravity and it’s around 1.020. It doesn’t taste good at all currently, real strong chocolate taste, but not a very nice one. I’m not one to mess with a kit until I’ve tried it as per instructions first time round, but I...

    BIAB.

Thanks for the replies. Do you not use a chiller then? Just ice bath in a sink instead? With regards buying in bulk, unless you crack the grains yourself I thought that they should all be used as soon as possible, which for me would mean only buying in batch volumes. Definitely keen to have...

    BIAB.

Hi guys, I started with homebrew kits earlier this year. Done 6 now I think, and been very impressed with the quality of the beer. American IPA, juicy session IP{A, American mocha porter, pink grapefruit ipa, all very good. I'm toying with buying some all grain gear to try BIAB all grain...

    PB dispensing solution

Sorry to jump on this post. I've got my first porter in a FV today and plan to use a PB in a fortnight. Everything I've done previously has been IPA so bottled. The american mocha porter is a 30pint brew so is going to leave a fair head space in the PB. Shall I bang some CO2 in this when...

    Hazy Jane DIY Dog

https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/neipa-mini-mash-kit/ Don't suppose anyone has given this ago have they? Apologies if thisnisnin the wrong thread, thought it may come out Jazy Jane like though. At nearly 50 quid would it not be more affordable to pick up an AIPA kit and these grains &...

Juicy Session IPA - Mangrove Jack's review

I actually bottled mine last night. It smells great once hopped. Literally drinkable after fermentation so should be great in a months time. Brewed mine slightly short to try to push it over 5% but started at 1045 and finished at 1008/9 so think it's actually come out as it should, not stronger...

    Hazy Jane DIY Dog

I'm a bit of a noob mate so not sure what you mean. Only done 4 brews from extract kits. Youngs american IPA twice, then mangrove Jack's pils and the juicy session I've got on now. Cant seem to find neipa style kits though

Are there any kits that I could add to to get a similar beer to this guys? Got a mangrove juicy session ipa fermenting at the minute but want something similar around the 6% mark

Juicy Session IPA - Mangrove Jack's review

I've had this kit fermenting for the past 9 days. Took a gravity reading yesterday and it was still at 1.025. Started at 1.045. I don't think I've had anything through the airlock since about 5 days in when it was going crazy. Temp is at 20 and doesn't fluctuate much. I'll be checking it again...

    Youngs American IPA

Another couple of wseks in the warm then fridge for 48 hours and I still can't work out if I did good for a first time or not?! Not much head, and a strangely sweet taste, but quite drinkable when it starts flowing.
