So no-one knows anything about sugar wine?

Don't know if thats the right spelling but its good enough. I believe the Fins make and drink a wine made from just sugar, anybody done it, maybe have a recipe for it?

Im gonna barrel it, but it seems a bit sweet, smooth and not exactly bittery tasting.

Ive had 23ltrs of bitter fermenting for over 4 weeks and still it is only down to 1.010, I put half kilo of sugar and a kilo of DME, temp at 20c, any ideas. Tried to start a new post but it doesn't work, so hijacked this one.

Does anyone how to fit a schraeder valve to a PB cap, there are different types of schraeder fittings.

I used a Simply Brown Ale kit, better than Newcastle Brown Ale. I brewed it 5ltrs short, just added 500g of sugar,(half a bag, didn't weigh it).

Where do you get these brews/kits from if you don't mind me asking.

Ive added a second lot of finnings to my Brown Ale, still not perfectly clear, but Ive barreled mine, no extra sugar, just Co2 bulb, its fine, about 8% ABV too, better than Newkie Brown.

Not for me, too messy, I will stick with ready to use kits.
