    Memories anyone?

So, a friend of a friend of a friend etc, was doing some clearing out and remembered that I was a home brewer and was wondering if I'd be interested in some "old" homebrew stuff she'd found. My inner magpie immediately said yes and a few days later I received this plus 2 demijohns, Inside...

Patches that my normal cleaning isn't removing -

I'm trying to clean some old demijohns that I inherited some time ago, there are a few "patches" that my normal cleaning isn't removing, any recommendations? So I'd normally use Astonish Oxyclean and StarSan (or alternative). We're in a very hard water area. I've tried an overnight soak, I've...

Is there a good Perry kit out there?

Anyone know of a good perry kit or any perry kit? Not a pear flavoured cider but made with actual pear juice? I do like a good perry but I was very disappointed by the Mangrove Jacks Perry Cider, it was actually a nice enough drink but it was NOT a perry!

    Gozdawa Expert Baltic Porter opinions?

Anyone got any comments on the above kit? I'm looking for a winter warmer/porter style to get under way in the next week or so, to be ready at the begining of the new year and I can't find any reviews here. It's going to be bottled by the way.

    Undercarbonated St Peter's Honey Porter

In summary, my first beer kit for 30(ish) years, was hoping to have a "Winter Warmer" for Xmas. So everything went according to instructions, fermentation took 6 days at 20C, FG was around 1010 and stable. Bottled straight into 500ml PET bottles and 2 carbonation drops added per bottle. Left...
