Supermarket Juice Wine How To guide and Recipes.

Years ago I made some elderberry wine as per Mr CJ Berry! It has nice flavour but is really sickly sweet! Am now making nice supermarket wine! My question is"could I add a bottle of the elderberry to a fermenting supermarket wine to use up the sugar in elderberry"?

The Range- Make Your Own Home Brew, IPA

The first couple i tried were after about 4 weeks, tasted a little "tangy" the homebrew taste!! Had one the other night & it has changed so much! This is after 3 months. A lot smoother & lovely flavour! I did slightly over prime the bottles! & when i open them it still disturbs the yeast a...

The Range- Make Your Own Home Brew, IPA

Ohhh it's not bad, the first kit is now really tasty(take a while to mature) & very strong! The 2nd one I used demarara sugar & some English hops (fuggles & northdown for dry hopping near end) it's a very different taste, but not at all unpleasant! Does improve a lot with time!

    What did you brew today?

I made one of these! But just as it came & the thing erupted so badly I had to put half in another f/v! 3 months on & it's a lovely pint, but have to pour it sooo gently, & even then it drags up the sediment!

    Electric kettle or stock pot?

On that site, they also have a 40 litre pot for preserves, only £104, would this do the trick,? (seems to do all the Klarstein does) normally 240 odd quid!

Have a go at simple AG

What do you use for the boil? I'm not sure which route to go down or may even stay with kits!! I'd like to try at least one AG though! Just to try it! So buying all the gear for AG could prove costly if I don't get on with it! Cheers!
