I doubled up on a harvest mild kit not long ago. I also added hop tea and dry hopped it. It's great! Very bitter but drinkable and addictive.

got a sg of 1.058/1.060. so will be around 6.5%

I've given up. I went down the shop and changed my mind made a new thread.

And I bought these on the OOD shelf for 5 pounds each. I'm gonna mix them top up to 22l. Then add 500g of Dem sugar and dark sugar. I will dry hop at end for 5 days with my left over Saaz. I'm all in for only 13 pounds for 40 pints, let's see how it goes!

I have 40g of saaz pellets. Some powdered malt 2kg (mix), yeast and black treacle. I dont want to go out and buy anything else. Can i make a tasty 40 pint brew out of this?

I did it! Opened a bottle (or two or three) tonight!

So do I add 50g of the nugget from the start? looking at calculator I changed it to 50g nugget for 60min 20g chinook and 20g cascade 30min 20g saaz 10min dry hop 5 days 30g of each chinook, saaz and cascade. IBU's came up to 127.75

I pick Saaz to replace Motueka coz I cannot get any. is Saaz a bad idea?
