    Flat beer from my corny.

They are good. I've learnt so much from you guys just by posting one problem I was having. Getting the corny set up is not cheap as we all know. And when it doesn't deliver it's very disappointing. But now I don't think there is any thing else that can go wrong now 🤔🤣. I'll never go back to...

    Flat beer from my corny.

What I didn't know was to keep the pressure connected. As I rolled it I could hear the regulator kicking in supplying more gas. Perfect. Thank you. A massive lesson learnt. The video that was posted really helped

Thank you everyone for your great tips, advice and videos. I'm still learning. I'm now pulling the perfect pint of stout 😁

    Thanks Chopps. It's worked perfectly

    Flat beer from my corny.

Yes initially I thought the same. But after pulling a few pints to test it. There must be a good few inches. I've seen a video today. He advised cranking the psi to 50. Then shake it for a good few minutes. He said you should hear the main regulator kicking in adding more gas to the fluid. And...

    Flat beer from my corny.

It's very cold. I live in Manchester UK probably around 5c. I've never had issues with my other beers and IPAs.

    Flat beer from my corny.

Weirdly, an hour after rolling it, it has gone back to pouring flat. I have a decent tap. With a small flow control fitted to it. This has worked with every other beer really well. But not the stout. I've ordered a stout spout to see if this makes a difference. I doubt it but we shall see. I'll...

    Flat beer from my corny.

Leon103 Thank you for that tip. I've just rolled it and tipped it for s good few minutes and now poured a pint that looks like a good pint of Guinness. It makes sense now. Kind of 😁 Thanks again

    Flat beer from my corny.

I have it in my garage. It's very cold. I've actually brought into the house. But I'm now thinking that's not a good idea. I didn't know about the shake 'thing' now that makes sense as the gas may just be sitting on the top. It has been in the keg under pressure for two days. I'll give it a good...

    Flat beer from my corny.

But the beer is coming out. No problem filling my pint pot. Just no head or obvious signs of gas in the liquid..

    Flat beer from my corny.

Hi all, I'm at a loss. I've made an imperial stout from Muntons kit. I fined it then put it into my 19ltr corny. I've used same corny for the last 7 brews with no issues. However, with this stout (1st time with stout) I cannot get any gas into the beer. No head, it's flat. I've tried my mixed...

    Muntons Imperial Stout Review

I agree. I was disappointed with the SG. 1038. I had to add dextrose to bring it up to 1040. It also did not want to go past 1014. No matter what I did. It is approximately 3.8% Very disappointed. In fact I'm finding this with a lot of kits these days. 'They don't do what is days on the tin' And...

    Fini g beer before priming.

Thanks. I'll not use finings on the 2x5 gals on the go. I like to experiment. I'll siphon off from the 1st FV into my 2nd. Batch prime then bottle. I'll keep you informed. Cheers

    Recommend a chillie variety

Please check your finished chilli fruits. If there is a tiny black mark on the skin or what looks like a tiny black hole. Discard them. I grew chillies last year. Had an abundant crops. Some of them were the naga and scorpion varieties. As a previous poster mentioned the heat doesnt affect some...

Mangrove jacks rye ipa extract kit

It was delicious. Thank you Elliot 22 for asking. My second kit was a Festival Premium Ales kit called Summer Glory with elderflower. It surpassed my Mangrove Jack's IPA. All gone now as is my scrumptious oaked cider. It was Christmas and New Year after all of course. I now have a Festival Ales...

    Shipyard Pale ale

Wow! Thanks for that AA. I'm new to this xand still using kits. Although I might seriously considering a Grainfather in the near future. It was the hop variety I was also struggling with. I recently brew 23l using Mangrove Jack's classic no 11. They assured me it was their closest. It's very...
