I'm still new to this but read about biotransformation, basically hopping during active fermentation but maybe I need to add these in a way I can remove them so that they aren't in too long

Mines about a day and a half into the fermentation. Had to dry hop it as I have gone away. Normally about 3 to 4 days for a dry hop I think and from what I have read you need to do the diacetyl rest when your between 2 and 5 points away from final gravity.

Thanks martin. I emailed them and they said not to add the flaked oats as a fermentable. Which brings the abv down to about 3.9%. But then I was thinking its flaked oats including husk so is it going to be 50 to 70% fermentable? Which may make it about right?

Yeah I did and that's what I would prefer to do but wasn't sure if this would mean I would need more hops.

Just comparing your yields to mine and they are pretty close. Mine are slightly lower. Seems quite a big difference in final abv to what the hop and barley recipe said. Is this just down to different brewing systems?

That's great will try that. Is the acid malt just something extra you have added? Can I leave that out?

Hi, new to the forum and brewing. I have just got the kit from malt miller to make this but when I put it into brewfather it's coming out at 6.2% abv. Can anyone help? Is it just because I'm doing it on my brewzilla and the recipe has been made on different equipment or do you think my yields...
