    Dry hopping....

Thank you. Haven't got any hop bags so they are going in lose. Hopefully cold crash will drop them out. If they do start to ferment again, do I just leave it a bit longer before cold crashing?

    Dry hopping....

Hi all, been getting really confused when reading up on dry hopping. So I have an English IPA that's 1 week into fermenting, according to my rapt pill its been at FG for 2 days. Used Mangrove Jack's M42 yeast at 20c. SG reading for pill matched hydrometer. It's in a 30l all rounder. Never dry...

    Fermzilla All rounder Dip tubr

I cut mine down to be just above the bottom when empty (I think!!) I thought the tube was long enough for both the 30l and the larger version when delivered... I do tilt my all rounder near the end of the transfer to get as much out as possible and it seems to get most of beer out.

    CML yeast recommendation

Gone with, the firm, midland and four... Thanks all, I might have to go back to basics and do the same beer with different yeasts to see what difference it makes.

    CML yeast recommendation

Will 1 packet be enough for 23l or is it best to add a bit extra from another packet and store till next brew day?

Definitely. The only problem is I remember when I start my brew but then forget dead quick..😂😂

    Try it and see recipe

6.1 Didn't hit numbers very well 2 points below pre boil and 3 points below fg. Did a few mistakes, added a bit more water at pre boil then realised I had my malt pipe draining in my bucket so got about another 1.5l before boil. When transferring to fermenter, slashed my brewdevil so left a bit...

    Try it and see recipe

Hi all So I normally do clone recipes or something out of GH's book. Whilst they are ok they never seem to be the same as the original, it could be the way I brew or I'm expecting commercial level from myself (which I'll never be) I do AG in my brewdevil 30l. So thought would have a go at...

    Self-Build Kegerator - Temp control?

No heater in play. Mines in my garage and I suppose it naturally warmer than 9.5 degrees. Once its cooler in there I think/hope it just wonrt turn as much.

    Self-Build Kegerator - Temp control?

I have an inkbird controller that the fridge plugs into. Mine set to 9.5 degrees but you can set it to whatever temp you want.

    Corny keg

What i do with my kegs is, pressurize and then turn gas off at manifold, but go back 2 or 3 times a day and repeat process. Just in case I have a leak.

    Another Kegerator fridge question.

Hi all After advice on which one would be best hotpoint rla36 or currys essential cul55w20 for new style kegs x 2. My recycled rla36 has given up so looking at a new one. Just after opinions on if the currys one is better (more space) for the newer style kegs or stick with what I had before. Thanks

    Beer line help

Hi all New to kegs and have my 1st porter ready to go. Temp is 9c and have pressure at keg 10psi. Its about 13 on regulator but have manifold which I believe takes it down a bit. Got 3m of 3/16 beer line and getting really slow pour. If I've done my maths ok, should it be about 3.2 feet? Thanks

    Keg to keg jumper

This might be a daft question, but how do you store these after being used? Transferred beer from allrounder to keg and have cleaned everything. Do I leave oxy/chemsan in there till next time (maybe a few months) or disconnect one of the disconnects and let it drain and drip dry?

    RO question

I just take it as 0 for everything and don't worry about the 5ppm I might be wrong though!
