    Dry hopping....

Hi all, been getting really confused when reading up on dry hopping. So I have an English IPA that's 1 week into fermenting, according to my rapt pill its been at FG for 2 days. Used Mangrove Jack's M42 yeast at 20c. SG reading for pill matched hydrometer. It's in a 30l all rounder. Never dry...

    Try it and see recipe

Hi all So I normally do clone recipes or something out of GH's book. Whilst they are ok they never seem to be the same as the original, it could be the way I brew or I'm expecting commercial level from myself (which I'll never be) I do AG in my brewdevil 30l. So thought would have a go at...

    Another Kegerator fridge question.

Hi all After advice on which one would be best hotpoint rla36 or currys essential cul55w20 for new style kegs x 2. My recycled rla36 has given up so looking at a new one. Just after opinions on if the currys one is better (more space) for the newer style kegs or stick with what I had before. Thanks

    Beer line help

Hi all New to kegs and have my 1st porter ready to go. Temp is 9c and have pressure at keg 10psi. Its about 13 on regulator but have manifold which I believe takes it down a bit. Got 3m of 3/16 beer line and getting really slow pour. If I've done my maths ok, should it be about 3.2 feet? Thanks

    Keg to keg jumper

This might be a daft question, but how do you store these after being used? Transferred beer from allrounder to keg and have cleaned everything. Do I leave oxy/chemsan in there till next time (maybe a few months) or disconnect one of the disconnects and let it drain and drip dry?

    New kegs

Hi all So after years of bottling I have taken the plunge into kegging. With thanks to brewkegtap I now have 3 brand new kegland kegs and kegorator kit for 2 taps. I know I need to strip and clean them but want to check that using oxy is going to get rid of any oils etc? Seen online about tsp...

    ESB Greg Hughes

Hi all, Still new to my Brewdevil and AG. So I'm going to ask a daft question. I'm going to give Greg's ESB a try, do I amend the hops and grain to match my Brewdevil profile in Brewfather app? The alpha contents of my hops are different to the book, and to match the IBU and EBC I need to tweak...

    1st AG bottled

Bottled my 1st AG brew today (St Austell tribute) Coming from kits, are AG brews more "dirty"? Had a lot of suspended yeast lumps that I want expecting so quick dash to get a strainer! Some smaller bits will have gone into my bottling bucket and no doubt into a few bottles, hope it will be ok...

    1st AG double check me

Hi all Going to be doing my 1st AG this week, St Austell Tribute. Am I right in thinking that if I use the false bottom I don't need to worry about the hop spider when adding the hops, just through them in at the right time? My plan was to mash with 19l, sparge up to 26l then boil. Does this...
