Anyone know a good raspberry and lime cider recipe? one similar to bulmers's raspberry and lime cider if possible. i'm not sure about the ratios of lime to raspberries etc. some pointers will be helpful please. even if its just how much Grams of raspberry to use to make 1 gallon. Cheers Andy

i just measured mine. the ring (in which the bubbler goes into) was 8mm for me. the outer bits (which sit above and below the plastic lid) measured 18mm diameter. i just drilled a hole big enough to make it a tight fit. :thumb: Andy

To prime a pint of beer in general it takes a 1/2 a tsp per pint. this is 2.5g (2.1g to be precise) per pint. 23l = 40pints. so 40 x 2.5g = 100g of sugar. i may be incorrect but I'm pretty sure thats right.. the instructions for the lager should have a general "per pint" amount of sugar to...

i think what it does in the end is means that there will be less of a bite. but i could be wrong. i always add cirtic acid when its asked for.. e.g. Rosehip wine. because rosehips arn't acidic.

its up to you really.. some people preffer it sliced.. some grated. .or other various methods.. like it being ground.. but.. just try different ways for each batch and see how it goes! :)
