    Marrsy's Brewery Recipes [Updated 18/11/13]

I would age it in the FV mate, Brews tend to age better when stored in large volumes, makes it harder for temperature change to effect them aswell. Are you? not able to get your hands on some water bottles and adapt the method I links to convert them into an FV to get some new brews on the go ?

    Ribena cider dud?

Just for future reference I have found that most of my Ribena and Vimto Brews take a little longer to take off than WoW, that stuff basically homebrew rocket fule just waiting for the yeast to kick it off :thumb: Glaad your brew has turned out ok though

I have never had problems with Cranberry juice, did you remember to boil the strawberry vimto? Are you getting activity in the airlock just at a slower rate ? could it be that the airlock is not on your DJ tight enough and you have a leak ?

    Cheeky Vimto

I usually bottle mine around that stage but I often add campden tablets and wine stabilizer to kill the yeast off as I enjoy flat Cider. If you want to carbonate it then try hold off on the campden tablets.

    Clearing WOW in buckets

In theory you can but in my experiance them lids hardly ever fit on properly so something nasty might get in and ruin your brew. Might be worth wrapping the seal of the lid with cling film or tin foil or something for a little extra protection.
