    Target Hops -

    I have used them before... and as many above point out they are a bit tricky to use... as a home brewer we tend not to penny pinch too much; so i would tend to use hops that have a robust bitterness but not harsh. Anyway many use them with good results so its a matter of preference. :thumb:

    If i remember this beer well its quite dry... But nonetheless all Badger beers tend to have that English yeast flavour... So i would go for WL007

    If it was me... I would avoid Target it gives a harsh bitterness and can be too overpowering if the quantity is excessive..... I would replace it with challenger... it will give you a stong but plesent bitterness Bones

    Hi Guys... :cheers: Been using WL005 for Trad English Bitters... There is a really fruity aroma and flavour... BANANAS!!!! Is this normal... Been brewing at 20 deg c On 6 generation and pitch if anything too heavy.. Your comments appreciated..

    US Mount Hood

    A while back i brewed an Ale using Mount Hood as the aroma hop... and also dry hopped..... The result was really quite good.... it gave refreshing hoppy notes not too citrus... What European hop would give similar charateristics...??????????????

    I would suggest using an english style yeast.... WL002 or WL005 would be a good example... 002 being slightly sweeter... either would work well for a TT clone... :cheers:

    May be some dates or figs left over from crimbo.... Pour over boiling water reduce to make a syrup....
