I have tried four of the on the rocks ciders and they have all been good :thumb: ,I have just bought the apple and spice one,the only warning I can give really,is just be careful how much of it you drink as its lethal :D
I keep my brew in the shed, and was wondering if the frosty weather has anything to do with my woodfordes nog tasting bad,it tasted ok up till the cold spell when it dropped to -6,and now it tastes awful.
I have trid this cider, and I didn't know what to expect bacause its been in the cupboard as the shed was far too warm, anyway I put it in a fridge and started drinking it after 8 weeks and it tates really nice,I will get another one these kits and possibly try the blueberry.
whats the best way to keep plastic kegs cool,is there owt on the market that can be put in the freezer then wrapped round the keg,?I'm sure you will all agree warm beer is terrible.
On my woodfordes nog it says after bottling or barreling, place it in a warm place for two days then move it to a cool place for three weeks,I was thinking maybe the shed, but the forecast is to 0 degrees and minus 1 at night,is this too cold or should it be ok?
Hi all,its my first year in home brewing,1 of my other hobbies is keeping bees so I have 2 gallon of mead on the go,I have also just started some woodfordes nog,and have some woodfordes wherry to follow.
