What are you drinking tonight 2020.

Coopers Canadian Blonde that has been in the bottle for 3 months roughly. Easy drinking and quite refreshing. Not too gassy though. Would have preferred a bit more bubbles. Not sure what I would compare it too though??

Wort Chiller - Is it really necessary?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but is this in reference to brewing with no kit and why do you need to chill?

    Carbonation

Morning, I bottled my first Coopers kit yesterday. Its the Canadian Blonde. My friend brewed the Coopers Mexican Cerveza and I really enjoyed it. I used brewing sugar for carbonation but as an experiment I used syrup, honey, demerara and castor sugar in a few different bottles to see if I can...

    Atmosphere Wine Kit

Hi, I've brewed 4 of these sauvignon blanc Atmosphere kits and they are really good. They are discontinued now, Vine Co replaces them I believe and instead of 16 litres of grape juice its now 10 litres. Can anyone recommend an alternative or has anyone tried the Vine Co sauvignon blanc kit...

    Youngs APA.

I've got 12 bottles of this left and really enjoyed it throughout the summer. Nice head on it. I just threw the hops in and transferred to another bucket for bottling so most of the hops were left behind.

    Wine mistake

Thanks. It wasn't too much so hopefully it won't end up with a haze.

    Wine mistake

Thanks for the advice. Will certainly keep it going. 5.7kg of garden strawberries would seem a waste.

    Wine mistake

Thanks Chippy. You're right, it is fermenting. I noticed tonight that the airlock was a lose fitting one so I put a tighter one in and away it went, bubble bubble. As for the sugar, it was only a small percentage of the total was icing sugar. Every day is a school day and it seems a shame to...

    Wine mistake

Hi, I started a homemade strawberry wine following a recipe from the forum and I didn't have enough sugar. However i noticed that my daughter had some icing sugar. I have since read that its no good due to caking agents. The fermenter has mostly ordinary sugar in it and the icing sugar makes up...

    Strawberry Abundance

Hi, I have searched on the forum but couldn't find an answer. I have an abundance of strawberries, made loads of jam, eat them as much as we can but there will still be loads after giving them to friends and family. After quite a few wine and beer kits, somebody suggested strawberry wine. Does...

I've searched the forum folks but couldn't find an answer to this. Can you use PET bottle tops again or are they single use? Thanks. Andy.
