    All Rounder Storage

I currently own two All Rounder fermenters, but shan’t be using them for a while, so need to store them. Both have been thoroughly cleaned and they are currently sat with Chemsan in them. Is it safe to leave the Chemsan in there until next use or is it recommended that it be drained off, sealed...

    Dry Hopping after Fermentaion

I have a Youngs American IPA due for dry hopping, but I am going away for 10 days and don’t want to leave the hops in until I return. Can I leave it until I get back? Also, how critical is temp control after fermentation has finished. I use a Ferminator for control but would prefer to not leave...

    Tilt Hydrometer leaking

Definitely leaking. Dried it out several times and tested again in just water. Same result every time. Close inspection revealed micro cracks all around the thread section

    Tapcooler Counter Pressure Bottle Filler

Just recently treated myself to a nice little shiny new toy, the Tapcooler Bottle filler. How many here own or use one. Just tried it out on a single bottle and it worked great. My question is regarding the cleaning and sanitising routine. Can it be left fully submerged to soak when doing both?

    CO2 Regulator problems

Evening update: Managed to disassemble the unit after a lot of swearing. It was bone dry, no gunk of any sort. Removed all the components, quick rub down with a dry cloth and reassembled. hey presto, working as should be, very strange indeed.

    Swapping Beer Spear

Check the length of the silicone dip tube. I’ve encountered the exact same problem with my Mangrove Jacks kegs. Shortened it in small increments and works a treat now. Too much and you’ll leave a lot of beer in the bottom.

    CO2 Regulator problems

Don’t recall having any blow back, but will investigate tonight. The ODL looks simple enough, can’t see any screws in the photographs of the Kegland branded ones though.

Problem is that it’s not serviceable in any way, is it?

    CO2 Regulator problems

My Mk4 Kegland co2 regulator seems to be misbehaving. If I need to set it to say 30psi when sealing kegs, the gauge responds really slowly in getting to the set pressure, and more often than not it tends to overshoot by a few pounds when it eventually gets there. When I then connect a keg to...

    Fridge Thermostat deactivate.

In the original post, I guess I was a little premature, I should have checked what temperature my fridge was capable of getting down to first, would have been a lot easier. But you learn from your mistakes. I just hope this discussion has provided some valuable information to other members.

My fridge manages to get down to those temps, saving me a bit of work

    Fridge Thermostat deactivate.

None of the mods seem relevant or necessary. My temp is currently at -0.6c with the thermostat set to max cooling. Not got anything to go in there yet, so will continue to monitor the temps.

    Fridge Thermostat deactivate.

Like I mentioned previously, maxed out the thermostat, and I’m currently down to 2.5c without any mods. Gonna leave it a few more hours and see what it gets down to. I recall that when the temp was turned down, the wife complained that food at the back was freezing, so it looks like it has good...

    Fridge Thermostat deactivate.

Thinking about it now, you’re right. Got it maxed out at the moment, testing to see how low it will get. So why am I seeing advice suggesting you need to.

    Fridge Thermostat deactivate.

I’ve been sitting on my fridge fermentation project for several months. I have a fridge, heater, and inkbird ready to go, just need a wizard who can help with deactivating the thermostat. I have included a photo of the housing with all its wires laid bare. Which ones need cutting/rejoining etc...
