Water prepping before all grain brew advice needed please

@peebee Thanks for all your patience and help with this. Although the water report is not the best!!, I feel I have a better understanding of it all now. Think I will get a Murphy's report as well. Thanks again.

    Ispindel Battery Life

I have an Ispindel from Neil and the battery life is good. Just finished a 15 day ferment and it went from 4.24 down to 4.0 in that time. Mind you I only have it reporting once an hour so that probably helps.

That Texaco is not in Market Drayton BTW, it's in the village of Grindley Brook, just NW of Whitchurch on the A41.

    Malt Miller now using DHL?

Well, my parcel was delivered while I was out bowling. I had asked for the safe place to be behind the gate, left on front doorstep with the box all split. Luckily nothing missing. Minor annoyance, always had good delivery from DPD.

    Malt Miller

Another vote for MM, top service and a good range of ingredients etc. I ordered a fermenter from them and it had a couple of faults, replaced the next day without any bother at all.

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Those last two are the first that I have used my new kegerator for. Worth the money, a huge upgrade on PB's, although I will still use them for some brews. It is nice to be able to pour a beer at 'cellar temperature' I have mine set at 12c, which seems about right. I now brew to 21 litres...

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

On to my Best Bitter. Been in the keg about a month now. Smooth, malty, with a nice, for my taste, level of bitterness.

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

First check on my take on a Hobgoblin Gold type. Not quite clear yet, and needs a little more carbing, but tastes really good.
