    What are you drinking 2024.

I could happily drink Saison Dupont on draught eight days a week

    What are you drinking 2024.

Delicious stuff. Orchard blend of half a dozen or so varieties from near Chew. Went fantastically with some proper pork sausages. Somerset at its best.

    What are you drinking 2024.

MIxed fermentation beer aged in Cognac barrels for 3 years then refermented with English Pinot Noir grapes. Very impressive.

    What are you drinking 2024.

I bought a L&G case just before Christmas and didn't get through much in December. I then did dry Jan. Meanwhile it appears the wife drank all the IPL. Luckily she doesn't like darker beers so I've still got a handful of Spectres and the Black Lager .

One of my very favourite beers

    What are you drinking 2024.

I've not bothered with many non alc beers this month. I'd rather wait for the real thing but fancied someething beer-ish after a successful brew day.

    What did you brew today?

Ah! Next weekend is end of dry January so first pint of the year. It won't be this brew though: ) This one will be ready in 6-8 weeks depending on my patience!

    What did you brew today?

Hello everyone. My first post in 2 months - and my first brew too. All things Christmas and then dry January has kept me away. Brewing a simple (ish) German Lager today. Loosely based on some Dortmunder Export recipes - not that I've knowingly ever drunk such a beer. 95% Pilsner 5% Munich...

    What did you brew today?

First brew since early September for me. And only the second since June. Life getting in the way. Hefeweizen - but a touch of dark Wheat. Aiming for a Schneider Weisse ish colour if not the exact taste profile. Using WHC Banana Split to try it out - and tried a stepped mash to get some clove...

    Booths stores

Booths do a cracking job on most drinks - most things actually. I applauded the recent decision to ditch self checkouts too.

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

Another Lidl purchase. Really like this. Lots of citra character but bitter too. Beer not juice. Really well made. I wish the beer had been this good in Dundee when my in laws lived there.

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

First of a Lidl 4 pack. Decent but not absolutely top notch.

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

How is it? You've reminded me (a) I need to buy some and (b) I've not drunk any of last year's yet!

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

A night out at the rugby with a few beers either side. These were the picks. The Lost and Grounded was excellent - I love their lagers but this was spot on cask bitter.

    Ridiculous beer descriptions

A brewery local to me knowingly takes the p*** out of this sort of thing. They called one standard strength pale ale an "Imperial Table Beer".

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

Harbour Cold IPA walking down to the rugby. Decent. Crisp and bitter. Refreshingly fruit salad free.
