    Thanks it’s actually been 3 months in there but I’d removed most of the trub via the bottom collector after fermentation so it should be ok to bottle and it’s Belgium so any extra flavours are a bonus no? wink...

    I looked at my beer (brewferm Flemish brown) a few weeks ago an in the understairs cupboard this looked like a horrible mould so I’m disappointment I left it until today when I decided to Chuck it but looking at it in the light I’m not so sure it’s an infection now could it be yeast rafts?

    Poured 29 bottles down the sink today.

    I had a brown ale that was a bit of a gusher and tbh I really wasn’t enjoying, I use it for beer pizza dough the extra gas helps the rise no end!

    Bottling wands..

    Mine split on Sunday after the tube popped out on the last bottling session I think I pushed too hard to make sure it was in... i ended up using packing tape around the split then wrapped folded kitchen towel around it for an leakages. It was a very temporary measure but it worked. I was...

    Maybe it’s just me but it took me an absolute age to work out how to get it to display to more than two decimal places . I thought it would be at the variable level but it’s at the profile settings for your user. Mark

    Bottles

    I second the Range ones (I've got 48 of them) about the best value out there for none bulk purchases, though when Aldi have their swing top wheat beer in and its on offer then they work out to be about £1.40 ish a bottle and you get the beer! but its a rare occurrence.
