    PINTER beer system

I had the self same thought after posting. I will just need to do a bit of research on fkj fkj before deciding although 20l sounds better than 5l.

    PINTER beer system

Is there any reason why you couldn't use your own wort (brewing in small batches) in these with your own yeast. It would certainly reduce the cost per pint and you'd still be doing all grain just fermenting under pressure.

What are you drinking tonight 2020.

Brewdog neipa. Seen so much about neipa recently and having never tried one in thought I'd give it a go to see if it's a brew I'd make myself. Initial taste, not to my liking but after a couple of tastes it got better with each sip. It won't be high on my list of things to brew but maybe...

    Cheap Starter Kit ok eBay

I got this kit also. My brew is in the fermenter just now. Kit review - apparently fermenter lid doesn't seal great, I've not used mine yet but I've read a few say this. Pot - decent size at 19 litres. Not quite big enough for a full size brew but it will do for half batches, just means twice...

    Healthy drinking

When I am in the mood I can easily be averaging 80-120k per week. My longest ever run was on west highland way, so up over big hills for 85k. Took me almost 12 hours, was gutted when it got cancelled this year and next.

    Healthy drinking

I went on a health kick a few years ago and using my fitness pal I lost 5 stone. Then I took up running and gained a stone in muscle. Went from a size 38 trousers to my current size 30. I now run a minimum of 5 days per weeks and average 40-50k per week. I run distances from 3k races to ultra...

Pressure Barrels - More than you wanted to know!

One noob question. How do you know it's holding pressure. Is it as simple as spraying it with fairy liquid solution? I got given a couple of King kegs, I've half filled one with water and added a couple of squirts of gas with no obvious signs of leakage. I have a brew in the fermenter just now...

Put my first ever non kit brew into the fermented tonight. I pick up a starter kit on Ebay which included large pot, fermenter and a grain/extract kit. Cheers Clint. I've Done a few coppers and a couple of others that my lhbs had in stock. I'll take a trip to it soon, but its other side of the city. It's like an Aladdin's cave, must have over 100 different kits in stock at any time. Their website is not great though
