Hi I'm brewing a Young's bitter kit. Sat night was 8 days from brewing. I used the hydrometer and the reading was 1.006. I tried it tonight (Sun) and the reading was 1.008. Is it normal for an OG reading to fluctuate like this?

Hi I'm just about to make a John Bull IPA. I'd like to keg some and bottle some. Is it OK to half fill a keg? I assume when drinking I'll have to put some CO2 into the keg as the pressure in the air space decreases? Thanks Brian

Hi One of my friends suggested putting cinnamon into a brew, anybody tried it? Also, my first brew is ready, some bottles are good, some not so good. Will they both improve with age? Thanks :cheers:

Thanks for the suggestions. I've checked my beers. They were bottled on Sunday night, and the beer is clear already. Is that too quick?

Hi I've bottled my first brew. The washing and sterilising of the 40 bottles was a b****r! Is there an easy way apart from a keg?
